Any time you upload a picture of an event, try to contact anyone who was in the picture and tag them in the picture. They can always remove the tag if they don’t like being tagged in your picture. For large crowds, share the picture and ask people to tag themselves, if they spot themselves.
For smaller, more intimate pictures – such as networking events or meetings outside your store – you can tag the photos with everyone involved. This will tell them, and their audiences if such exist, about that person’s presence at your event. More exposure, more likes, so the cycle goes.

The more followers you have, the more people will see your posts each time you post something, which means more people will see your pictures. More people who might want to like the picture means more people will like the picture. Of course, this only works if your pictures are compelling and your followers are real.

Facebook contests: not just for followers anymore. When you choose to run a contest, why not put the gist of the rules in an image? People will like the contest posts regardless of what form they take; posting them in image form just earns you likes on your photos as well. Plus, since the image will expand into Facebook’s lightbox, you can get people clicking through your other photos as well. Make sure to customize the album the contest announcement is in, to make sure people have as much to like as possible without a bunch of superfluous images they don’t care about.
Post Lightly Controversial Photos
Controversy breeds likes, but you have to be careful. You don’t want to accidentally try to newsjack a tragedy or take a stance on an issue that your followers don’t support. Pick something controversial in a friendly way, like sports rivalries or whether Pluto should be a planet.
